Farrar & Associates Inc provided professional technical service to Bank Newport evaluating site and existing building conditions, leading the bank through a detailed decision making process. Upon the completion and during the building evaluation phase we also assisted Bank Newport with the selection of project architect and consulting engineers. With the project team in place Farrar & Associates Inc. continued the management of this highly successful project as General Contractor / Construction Manager.
The project plan consists of an extensive renovation and additions to a 54,000 sq./ft. facility. This facility will consolidate the banks administration operations presently located in several locations
The building plan included extensive renovation and retrofitting the existing superstructure. Structural steel upgrades were required with the implementation of energy efficient building systems. Space planning within the interior design included reconstructing the two story atrium which serves as the main entrance. This entry will lead visitors to the mass interior office space that is broken into four centralized hubs. Maintaining Newport heritage the hubs are identified by Newport landmarks including Fort Adams, Rose Cliff, Bellevue and Cliff Walk.
This facility will efficiently serve Bank Newport’s administration needs for the foreseeable future. Farrar & Associates Inc. is proud of being selected to lead this development effort. Estimated project cost: 8.5 million.
Prior to this project Farrar & Associates Inc provided project management service evaluating an alternate building site, cost estimating for a ground up corporate headquarters, evaluation of conventional owner builds vs. an owner / developer delivery.
